Why do we require Foundations?
CrossFIt EMCC hosts 3 (1) hour session foundation classes. This hour is set in a private (2 on1) setting to coach you personally to move efficiently.
The movements and techniques you’ll perform, however, are sometimes complex and require a bit of learning. For your safety, each and every new member must complete Foundations Classes prior to joining – giving you the confidence and knowledge you need to enter the group class.
(If you have previous experience and/or have taken a Foundations Program or similar
already, contact us to see if you are able to test out of Foundations. All approval must
come from the HEAD COACH)
What is Foundations?
Foundations Class consists of 3 one hour sessions that focus on the core movements used in our regular classes. Each class will start with a warm-up, some mobility work, skill work to learn new movements, and then end with a workout using the movements learned that day.
